Terms of Service

1. Who we are

TrashMap™ (“TrashMap,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Red Block LLC, based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The service is available at gettrashmap.com. Contact: hello@gettrashmap.com.

By accessing or using TrashMap, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What TrashMap is (and is not)

TrashMap is a marketplace listing board only for trashout / cleanout loads. Soft launch is Cincinnati first, with nationwide expansion later.

Red Block LLC:

• Does not haul, remove, or dispose of materials;
• Is not the contractor, subcontractor, or crew on any job;
• Is not your agent, broker, or insurer;
• Is not a party to any agreement, quote, invoice, or dispute between posters and contractors.

Any job arrangement is solely between the poster and the contractor. We do not guarantee that a load will be claimed, completed, priced fairly, or performed to any standard.

3. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for activity under your account or payment session.

4. Posters (people listing loads)

If you post a load, you represent and warrant that:

• You have legal possession of the property and authority to remove the contents you list (you must confirm this before posting; no possession, no post);
• Your listing is truthful (location area, type, size estimate, access notes, timing);
• You will deal directly with contractors you choose; TrashMap does not negotiate or perform the work.

We do not give legal advice. Confirming possession on the site does not create an attorney-client relationship or prove title.

5. Contractors (people running loads)

If you subscribe to run loads, you represent and warrant that:

• You maintain an active certificate of insurance (COI) and will upload or provide current proof as we require;
• Accounts without a current COI may be suspended and lose board access until insurance is current;
• You are properly licensed (if required where you work), equipped, and solely responsible for how you perform jobs;
• You contact posters and negotiate terms yourself; TrashMap is not your employer or principal.

6. Fees & payments

• Post a load: $1 one-time (via Stripe Payment Link).
• Run loads (contractors): $5 per month (via Stripe Payment Link).
• At launch, TrashMap takes no platform cut of any job fee agreed between poster and contractor.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds, chargebacks, and subscription cancellations are handled under Stripe’s and our then-current payment practices. Fees are for access to the listing board / posting feature — not for hauling services.

7. Hazardous & restricted loads

Loads involving biohazards, needles, sharps, medical waste, asbestos, chemicals, or similar specialty materials are not normal loads. Flag them accurately or decline to list them. Contractors may refuse any load. You are responsible for complying with all rules that apply to special waste.

8. Laws, dump fees & permits

Users are solely responsible for dump fees, tipping, disposal methods, permits, local ordinances, landlord/HOA rules, and any other legal requirements. TrashMap does not arrange disposal or guarantee lawful dumping.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RED BLOCK LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free listings, or the conduct, insurance status, or workmanship of any user.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RED BLOCK LLC AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE OR FROM ANY JOB BETWEEN USERS.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID TO TRASHMAP IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Red Block LLC and its owners, officers, and agents from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of: your use of TrashMap; your listings or jobs; disputes between posters and contractors; your failure to have legal possession or insurance; injury, property damage, or illegal dumping; or your breach of these Terms.

12. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Post false, fraudulent, or unauthorized loads;
• Scrape, spam, or abuse the board or waitlist;
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your role, insurance, or authority;
• Use the service for unlawful activity.

13. Intellectual property

TrashMap™ and the site design, text, and branding are owned by Red Block LLC or its licensors. “TrashMap™” is a trademark of Red Block LLC (trademark notice; not a registered ® mark unless and until registration issues). You may not use our marks without written permission.

14. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access (including for missing COI, suspected fraud, or Terms violations) at any time. You may stop using the service at any time. Sections that by nature should survive (including disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) survive termination.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes arising from these Terms or the service is the state or federal courts located in Hamilton County, Ohio, unless applicable law requires otherwise. (Confirm venue and arbitration choices with counsel as the product matures.)
