Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how Red Block LLC (“TrashMap,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use gettrashmap.com and related waitlist, payment, and listing features. TrashMap is a marketplace listing board for trashout / cleanout loads. Soft launch: Cincinnati first, nationwide later.

2. What we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

• Contact details — name, email, and/or phone you submit (for example on the waitlist or for account and job alerts);
• Role & location — whether you post loads or run loads, and city;
• Listing content — job descriptions, neighborhood/area, size estimates, timing, and possession confirmation;
• Contractor insurance info — certificate of insurance (COI) details you provide for board access;
• Payment data — processed by Stripe when you pay $1 to post or $5/mo to run loads. We do not store full card numbers on our servers; Stripe handles card processing;
• Technical data — basic logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, as collected by our host (e.g. Cloudflare) for security and reliability.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Operate the waitlist, listing board, and related features;
• Process payments and manage contractor subscriptions;
• Verify COI status and enforce possession confirmation;
• Send account and service alerts (for example waitlist notices, board access, or operational updates);
• Respond to messages sent to hello@gettrashmap.com;
• Protect the service against fraud and abuse;
• Comply with law.

Email and phone collected for accounts and alerts are used for those purposes — not sold as a marketing list.

4. Who we share with

We share information only as needed to run the service:

• Stripe — payment processing (see Stripe’s privacy policy);
• FormSubmit (or a similar form relay) — waitlist form delivery to our inbox;
• Hosting / CDN — e.g. Cloudflare Pages for serving the site;
• Other users — listing details you post may be visible to contractors with board access; contact details may be shared as needed for a job you choose to pursue;
• Legal — if required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Marketing, email & texts

Service and waitlist messages related to TrashMap access are transactional or relationship messages. If we send marketing emails, we will include an unsubscribe mechanism and comply with CAN-SPAM. If we send marketing texts, we will obtain appropriate consent and honor opt-outs under the TCPA and similar rules. You can opt out of marketing anytime; transactional messages about your account or payment may still be sent when needed.

6. Retention & security

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above (for example active subscriptions, COI records, listing history, and legal/accounting needs), then delete or de-identify it when practicable. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards; no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Your choices & rights

You may:

• Request access to or correction of contact information we hold;
• Ask us to delete waitlist or account data where we are not required to keep it;
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails or texts as described above;
• Cancel a Stripe subscription through Stripe’s customer portal or by contacting us.

Email hello@gettrashmap.com for privacy requests. We may need to verify your identity. Residents of certain states may have additional rights under local law; contact us to exercise them.

8. Children

TrashMap is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the applicable age). If you believe a child provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy for future use.
